As a non-dev I really enjoy the strictness of code. And the strictness of reading error-messages. Miss a comma or a curly bracket and you're reminded of your shortcomings. The ah-yes-of-course moment. Come across that with my nixos-rebuild and the dwm make. Loving it. As long as I can solve it 🤣 #dwm #archlabs

Getting there! Updated and patched to dwm 6.8, on Void. And since spring is coming I decided to go for that good ol' murky foliage kind of stuff 😜 #archlabs #dwm #voidlinux

VoidLinux to the rescue. Obviously that LUKS, dracut and bin kernel was a glorious PITA on Gentoo. But..... VoidLinux has everything I want, a tutorial that actually worked was found quickly and now dwm 6.8, st and dmenu all compiled gloriously. Let the patching begin. Remember, this time I wanted to start from zero, Unfortunately I have to work tomorrow 🤣 so this will have to wait to later in the week. But this feels very appropriate for the ThinkPad.
