Finally created my blog yesterday. It is basic but functional. Just a place to post and an RSS feed just now. Spent the rest of the evening trying to find a good domain name. All the ones I think of are taken

I thought someone had stopped following me and thought I was probably going to heavy on the AI hate. Then I realised that Mastodon has just changed their UI. AI hate will resume shortly

Today I installed Qbz, a native Linux Qobuz client that provides better sound quality than the browser. It isn't available in nixpkgs so I had to install the tarball manually and I only went and flipping did it. Wasn't anywhere near as challenging as I thought it would be and now I have a lovely new music player. I love #nixos

Someone has just submitted a PR for Passport to help Claude code with it. I hope no one does this for my libs.

After a lot of head scratching I had another go at applying an overlay for a previous version of Strongsong in NixOS tonight and finally got it working. I love NixOS but really need a deep dive, for beginners paced tutorial as I feel there are gaps in my knowledge and the docs out there aren't always that clear for me. #NixOS
